Accessibility Statement
SayVU makes safety accessible to everyone, and we want our website to be accessible to everyone too, including people with disabilities.
Conformance target
The website is designed with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as its target.
What we did
- A clear heading structure, and the language and text direction set on every page.
- Full keyboard navigation, including a "Skip to content" link at the top of every page and a mobile menu that opens and closes from the keyboard.
- Color contrast at level AA, and text alternatives for images and client logos.
- Layouts that adapt to any screen size, down to 320 pixels wide, without horizontal scrolling.
- If you turn on "reduce motion" in your browser or operating system, the website shows no animations.
- A "Pause animations" button at the top of every page stops all animation on the website, and your choice is kept as you move between pages.
- Links that open in a new tab tell screen readers so.
- Videos load only after you choose to play them, and can be played from the keyboard. All videos have captions, though in some videos they are in a different language from the page.
On November 4, 2026, automated checks with the axe tool found no violations of the tested WCAG 2.2 AA rules. A manual accessibility evaluation has not been done yet.
Known limitations
- The video player comes from YouTube, and we do not control its accessibility.
If you run into a problem that is not listed here, please let us know so we can fix it.
